Foundation

MPF Products, Inc. was formed in 1994 by a group of engineers led by Art Dunton. Their mission was to form a company with cornerstones of technical expertise in ceramic-to-metal sealing technology and a strong commitment to supplying their customers with the absolute best products, value and service. Art provided significant technical and business expertise, having over 2 decades of experience in the industry. He previously founded Insulator Seal, Inc. (ISI) in 1977, and successfully managed the growth and operation of that company until 1983 when ISI was sold to MDC Vacuum Products.

Development

The formation of MPF provided a return to the founding group's original mission: to provide technical expertise in ceramic-to-metal sealing along with the best products, value and service to their customers. The company initially focused on producing custom products for large OEM customers, including igniters to the aerospace industry. In just a few years MPF Products had grown substantially and added a diverse mix of products and customers. In 1999 we opened our current facility with 8000 ft² of manufacturing space and a significant investment in new and upgraded equipment. We also launched a product brochure for standard electrical feedthroughs and viewports for ultra-high vacuum applications.

Growth

MPF Products has developed our standard UHV products into a key segment of
our business, and we recently released our 2008 Product Catalog with more than 180 pages of standard items for vacuum applications. MPF is still the expert for custom ceramic-to-metal technology as well, and the majority of our business continues to be custom products for end users and OEMs. With our recent facility expansion we now have more than 12,000 ft² of manufacturing space and additional equipment for added capacity and internal capabilities. MPF continues
to provide expert technical knowledge, superior products, on-time deliveries, competitive pricing and great customer service. These attributes have always been the core of our mission and will remain the keys to our successful future.
